One of the more consequential multi-instrumentalists to morph from the endless reservoir of Metroplex talent is Bailey Siamone-Mason, a gifted musical expressionist whose productions feature an eclectic blend of enchanting musical concepts. The Dallas-bred and classically-trained pianist who owns a masters degree from SMU in Dallas and a bachelors degree from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, exudes a refined delicacy in her latest EP, Unheard Of. This work is not only a musical treasure trove, it is a work of art reminiscent of past classical and jazz masters, authentic keyboard virtuosos. One of the tracks, "No To Fear," is a vocally-rich powerhouse from the playbook of top-flight recording artists who chart the musical future of the pop, hip-hop, and R&B universes. Another of her creations, "Where are you," is a smooth-flowing single with fountains of flowing melodic runs drenched in seductively rich lyrical prose. Since she was a tot of only three and as if by design, Bailey's tiny hands were somehow drawn to the ivories, ceaselessly tinkering with the black and white notes until it all began to make sense and fall into place. Little did she know at that tender age that the technique essential for an encore performance at some of the nations finest performing arts centers was in motion. the foundation of which was long in development. An award-winning musician, Bailey was triumphant at the American Protégé International Concerto Competition in 2015, and that victory elevated her to the world stage and a virtuoso harp performance  at New York's elegant Carnegie Hall. And despite a plethora of contestants, she posted a first-place finish with her performance at the Oklahoma Harp competition in 2017. But Bailey's love of music is second only to her love of the one who gives generously, the creator, and then to her family. Bailey's gifts aren't limited to lovely instrumental and vocal performances; she's equally adept at music composition, having written truly exciting musical pieces to be performed for large and small audiences planet-wide. Her unique approach to music includes a fusion of elements from classical and hip-hop, pop and R&B. But don't be surprised to hear other strains tucked into voluptuous chords mingled with sweet arpeggiated runs and star-studded crescendos. On top of all of this, you'll hear emotively lilting voices prancing high and low on some of these choice selections. Bailey's plans for the future include more recordings and new compositions to tantalize audiences in live performances. Interestingly, among her many influences is hip-hop superstar Drake. By observing those at the top of their game, she learned to ride the wave of success in a manner that will allow her achievements to perpetuate. Her eclectic style will continue to reach the ears of diverse audiences not too shy to taste something a little different, something spicy, tender-hearted melodies. She accents this EP with inspirational numbers, highlighting the heartfelt need for God in ones life as reflected in all areas of human interaction. It is said that "variety is the spice of life," and considering the quality of the budding career of one of the Metroplex's most aspiring new talents, her diverse musical aptitude is one to reckon with now and for decades to come!
